Michael Dropps is a pianist and composer living in Rock Hill, SC. He attends Winthrop University where he studies music composition under the instruction of Ronald Parks and Leonard Lewis. Michael was born on May 16, 1984, and has been writing music since age 11. He has significant experience with all aspects of the music creation process, from recording and mixing to vocal editing, sequencing, and synthesizer programming. Michael’s compositions are emotionally charged and intellectually stimulating. Several of his works have been featured on Zed, a Canadian television program. Listeners have described his music as “beautiful”, “soothing”, and “powerful”. Michael also holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina, and works as a Senior Software Developer for ACS Technologies in Florence, SC. ACS Technologies develops software solutions that meet the needs of churches, schools, and other faith-based organizations. Michael gives credit solely to God for each of his talents and abilities. |
